Local Green Deal
Alcoy is pioneering multiple Local Green Deals through the Intelligent Cities Challenge. One focuses on sustainable last-mile delivery in collaboration with Coding the Curbs. As part of this initiative, the city is testing Smart Zones to manage loading and unloading activities more efficiently. By involving local stakeholders—such as businesses, carriers, and municipal departments—Alcoy is co-creating solutions that reduce emissions, ease congestion, and support urban resilience.
