About Us

Coding the Curbs is an Amsterdam-based startup specializing in curbside management, a trend that has recently gained traction in Europe after originating in North America. We were founded in 2020 as a collaboration between The Future Mobility Network and Fronteer—both experts in Smart Cities, innovation, and mobility.

Since 2023, Coding the Curbs has continued as a separate company with a dedicated team. This team aims to get people to think differently about how we use and allocate urban space. Additionally, we can always rely on the specialists from our parent companies.

As the first company in Europe to implement a digital solution for managing curbside spaces, we have established a strong reputation among European cities. Our startup is actively involved in key ecosystems, including the European Institute for Technology: Urban Mobility (EIT UM), POLIS, and the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management's DMI Ecosystem. Additionally, we are a proud start-up that is part of the YES!Delft accelerator program.

Currently, we are active in several Dutch cities such as Utrecht, Groningen, Helmond, and Rotterdam, and we have successfully rolled out our solution in European cities like Riga, Bucharest, and Copenhagen. Our platform has proven its value in various international contexts, benefiting cities, their residents, businesses, and transporters.
